This web page has been created by me, Debbie Camacho, for the purpose of displaying the various projects assigned as part of the webmaster certification program through Austin Community College. Links to projects can be found below in the Class Projects section. This page also contains information about my current job at the Austin Chamber of Commerce and samples of my work in electronic media. I have been employed by the Austin Chamber of Commerce for the past 13 years. In my current position I work along with others to maintain several web sites owned by the Chamber. These sites include: austinchamber.com, bioaustin.com, keepaustinvoting.com and austinhumancapital.com. One of my recent web designs collegereadyaustin.com is a site to help students and parents with resources for obtaining financial aid for higher education. A story on the site was written by Community Impact newspaper and was recognized by ACCElink, a national chamber of commerce publication, and distributed nationwide.

Additionally, I am responsible for desgining, producing and distributing various electronic flyers for marketing upcoming Chamber events. The production of the weekly electronic newsletter, @theChamber, is also part of my job. Links to samples of some of the flyers I've designed are below.

Although the majority of my job is devoted to working on web sites and electronic media, I don't have much official training in the field. By working toward obtaining my webmaster certification I hope to fill in any blanks in my knowledge and receive the documenation to back up my work experience.
