This Section
is administered to each student individually.

| WHAT |
The
Screening Section consists of a Word
List of 8 words (hair, world, hurry,
held, rice, shelf, worse and plate).
|
| SCORING |
Students score 1 for each correctly read word.
Record individual scores on the Student Record Sheet in the appropriate
Screening column.
Now record scores of all students in the Class
Summary Form (*AISD).
Students with 1-4 words read correctly advance to the Inventory
Section (p. 81-84 in your TPRI Teacher's Guide).
Students with 5 or more words read correctly, skip the Inventory
Section and go straight to the Comprehension Section. |
