INVENTORYBook and Print Awareness(Same for MoY and EoY) All students take this warm-up activity. teacher picks a randon story book with pictures and asks student standard questions (p.25 in Techer's Guide). There is no scoring for this activity. All students advance to Phonemic awarenss task. Phonemic Awareness(Same for MoY and EoY) TASK 1 Two Practice Items. Student comes up with a fourth rhyming word. Scoring Total of 5 possible
correct. TASK 2 Two Practice Items. Student forms word out of letters or letter clusters. Scoring Total of 5 possible correct.
TASK 3 Two Practice Items. Student forms word out of letters or letter clusters. Scoring Total of 5 possible correct. TASK 4 Two Practice Items. Student tells word without first letter. Scoring Total of 5 possible correct. TASK 5 Two Practice Items. Student tells word without last letter. Scoring All students, independent from their score, advance to Graphophonemic Knowledge. Graphophonemic Knowledge(Same for MoY and EoY) TASK 6 No Practice Items. Student gives Letter Name. Scoring Toal of 26 possible correct. TASK 7 Two Practice Items. Student gives Letter Sound and identifies letter. Scoring Total of 10 correct possible.
Listening Comprehension(MoY: Story 1 OR Story 2; EoY: Story 3 OR Story 4) No Practice Items. Student answers implicit and explicit questions about one Story. Scoring Total of 5 correct possible. This completes the test.
