Graphophonemic Knowledge

(MoY Screening 1, and EoY Screening 3)

Teacher gives the student two Practice Items before administering task. Students identify letter by sound and name.

Scoring
Possible of 10 total. But, only the Letter Sound score counts.

If:

a. score is 3 or less, go to Phonemic Awareness Task
b. score is 4 or more, go to Listening Comprehension.

Phonemic Awareness

(MoY Screening 2, and EoY Screening 4)

Two Practice Items. Student forms a word of letter or letter clusters.

Scoring
Possible of 8 total.

If:
a. score is 5 or less start the Inventory Section
b. score is 6 or more, go to Listening Comprehension.
