I was born in Odessa, Texas. It was sort of a fluke. My older and two younger sisters were all born in Las Cruces, New Mexico. A brief transfer to cover an open position in my father′s company resulted in my being the one and only born and raised Texan in my family. I came to Austin for college, and I've been here ever since.
