Capstone Project - Applications and Systems Track

This project was for a new business in Austin. It required incorporating several different technology components which made a very interesting project.

• The page was designed in Photoshop, sliced to create rollover images and JavaScript navigation was added in Dreamweaver.
• CSS-based Photo Gallery code was incorporated with permission from Stu Nicholls of cssplay.co.uk.
• An email subscription system required designing several html-based automated email responses.
• A custom built Flash MP3 player was created with volume controls and four song selections. Music was included by permission of artist Paula Nelson.
• The Directions page incorporates a Yahoo Map API providing controls to zoom, scroll and reposition by dragging the map image. Attribution (a link) and an APP ID were required from Yahoo to use this technology.
