About Me
Driven by a passion for creativity and a hunger for knowledge, I'm working towards earning my Webmaster Certification. My goal is to find a career that is both intellectionally challenging and creatively exciting.
I began my educational pursuits at Dallas Baptist University in 2003. In 2005 I transferred to the University of North Texas to further refine my artistic skills as a Painting and Drawing major. I later made a move to Houston where I attended the University of Houston. I was also fortunate enough to spend some time in Europe but, eventually, I found myself being pulled back to my hometown of San Marcos, TX where I decided to re-evaluate my educational path.
It was here that I began work as a Tech Support Representive for a leading CRM software company, Infusionsoft. I found myself immersed in the software. I constantly needed to know more about how it functioned and why. Among my team, myself and one other rep were selected to be flown out to the headquarters for extended training. I spent a week taking everything in and made the decision to start pursuing programming. I'm enthralled by the creative element involved as well as its constant evolvement.
I've begun teaching myself HTML and Javascript and have started courses at ACC to obtain my Webmaster Certificate. I encourage you to view my resume as well as my portfolio for HTML, Javascript and PHP.
