About Us

Heidi Evans is a military spouse of nearly 15 years and a mother to three active, elementary-age boys. She has lived in Kitsap County for seven years, many of them as a reporter or columnist with "The Kitsap Sun" newspaper. She interspersed her three stays in Kitsap County with duty stations in Colorado Springs, Colo.; Groton, Conn.; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Austin, Texas.

Over the years she has acquired many hobbies and talents, including photography, scrapbooking and even snorkeling and surfing. With her broad view of all the country has to offer, she loves sharing her knowledge with other military families. Kitsap County is a great place, and she wants you to make the best of the time you spend here.
