I was blessed to be born in the wonderful state of Colorado. Growing up in Colorado was great. I lived north of denver about an hour away in a very small town. Everybody knew who I was. That made it really hard to get into trouble since they all knew who my parents were. DANGIT!!! When it came time to learn to drive and knowing where I was going I could alway count on knowing what way was West because that was the directions the mountains were, except at nightime .

For the past 15 years I have enjoyed Cross stitching. I believe this gift was passed down to me by my Mother and my Nana. I have made many things for friends and family including dragons, precious moments and bible verses. This is very enjoyable but not a real craft that I can do on the road. When I got married over 6 years ago we began traveling twice a year, once to Colorado to see my family and once to Minnesota to see my Husband's family. I taught myself to Knit and Crochet. This became a much better craft to keep me busy on the highways of the US during vacation. I have finished aphgan's for all my family and for the 3 grandchildren so far.

When it comes to my family it is very hard to limit it to 2-3 members. Between my Husband and I we have 6 children, three each and we both have 2 boys and 1 girl. We still have 2 boys living at home one will begin high school in the fall and the other will start college in the fall. Our daughters have been busy. One has one daughter and another child due in Sept 2009. The other has two sons, one turned 2 in Apr 2009 and the other turned 1 in Jan 2009, Yes 9 months apart, busy girl.

Also, in our house we have 2 dogs(Kassie and Trixie), 2 cats(Alex and Tigger) and 1 bird(Makana). We are slowly getting rid of animals in preperation for the day that our children are moved out and we can begin traveling.

I have been working on finding a good Church. The last one that I was at had the greatest pastor that I have listened to but unfortunately it had to close due to funding. This Pastor was hired by the The Austin Stone to be a Pastor mainly for the Teens but also to teach at the adult church.

One thing that I love to do while passing the time is play Play Sudoku. This is a relaxing game for me when I have a few minutes.

I surf all over the Knitting and Crocheting patterns site looking for new patterns to create different blankets or hats. I have made many baby blankets that will be given to the hospital to give out to the newborns or sick kids that have to be there.

I know I have talked quite a bit about my home state but until you live there it is hard to describe. The air is clean the water tastes wonderful. The only reason that I left the state was opportunity with my job. I visit twice a year. The only thing that I don't miss is the snow and cold.
